Tay Moss: Innovative Ministry Centre Coordinator
Tay is also an Anglican Priest and serves as the Priest-in-Charge of the Church of The Messiah in Toronto. Tay earned his M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and has been involved in creative ministries at the congregation and judicatory levels for the past 15 years. Some of his projects have included developing social enterprises, video production, arts-and-spirituality, food banks, continuing education for clergy in transition, children’s ministry, creative-edge worship, running conferences, and coaching churches investing grant money to grow in mission. He has been a volunteer consultant for the Diocese of Toronto working with the Congregational Development Department for more than 10 years. Tay is an excellent sailor, an above-average cook, and a mediocre Taekwondo student. His wife and three kids keep him quite busy, but besides sailing and cooking Tay enjoys canoe camping and chilling in hammocks.

Jill Strapp: Coordinating Consultant for the Centre for Church Development and Leadership
Jill Strapp joined TUCC in 2018 and is the primary contact person for congregations and ministries looking for help with planning, ministry development and fresh direction, as well as providing staff support to the Innovative Ministry Centre Training Program. Prior to joining TUCC Jill worked with EDGE, leading sessions with congregations to explore ways to live out their church’s vision and facilitated community round tables to help churches connect with their local community and to identify potential partnerships. She is actively involved as a volunteer with her home church of Manor Road, where she is Chair of the Board of Trustees. Jill has an MSc in Social and Organisational Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Ron Ewart: TUCC Executive Director
Ron Ewart has been Executive director since 2014. He was ordained by the United Reformed Church in the United Kingdom in 1982, following studies at St Catherine’s College and Mansfield College in Oxford. He has been a member of the order of ministry of the United Church of Canada since 2001.
Ron has exercised local and regional church leadership in the UK, Germany & Canada, in a variety of settings including ecumenical chaplaincy, ethnic ministry, and world mission education. He was a staff consultant with ‘Potentials’, an ecumenical agency that provided facilitation and strategic-planning services to Anglican, United, Presbyterian, Salvation Army and Lutheran congregations prior to joining TUCC full time in 2007.
